On a gloomy and chilly Wednesday afternoon, the Bears faced the Bearcats of Hotchkiss on the turf. The Hotchkiss team was very strong and quick, and were able to capitalize on their opportunities well. After several Bearcat goals in the first half, Berkshire was able to get on the scoreboard with 8 minutes left, with an excellent heads up play by defensive-midfielder Lucy Hollister '15. Hollister fought for and won a ground ball and made an excellent pass down the field to Lexi Merison '15, who sniped a bounce shot into the goal. It was a great display of teamwork. Merison had a second goal at the end of the game, with less than two minutes remaining on the clock.
