The Bears traveled to Salisbury this afternoon for a Monday tilt with the Knights. It was an exciting back and forth game that took extra time to be decided.

The Bears added another man-up goal from Ras Steinreuck '13 and Frick netted an even strength goal, but Salisbury was able to pull ahead 6-4 at the half.

Both teams played a tight checking third quarter as Berkshire's Provost would acore the only goal of the period to cut the lead Salisbury lead to 6-5. Frick added a goal in the fourth before Salisbury scored again to regain the lead. With under two minutes to play it was a leaping Sam Merritt '14 that tied the game at 7. The Bears had chances late to take the lead but failed to convert and the game went to overtime.

In OT the Bears got another man-up opportunity. They cycled the ball around and found their shooter on the doorstep, but the chance was denied. They had no less than four shots at the cage in the extra period, but each was turned away by the Salisbury goalie. Late in the OT period Salisbury would score the game-winner off a fast break to earn the win. Both teams played hard and it was fun afternoon of lacrosse. On this day the Bears just came up a little short.
