John Ormiston with Jack the Dog   To the Alumni, Parents, and Friends of Berkshire School, Greetings from a sweltering campus, where July temperatures have reached new records. Speaking of records…The 2009-10 fiscal year has ended with heartening news for Berkshire School’s annual fund: Alumni, parents and friends gave a record $2,710,352---exceeding last year’s record amount by over $600,000. While the largest portion of these funds came from the expected sources, we are also delighted to note that our newest alumni—our graduating seniors—took a leadership role as over 90% of the Class of 2010 made a commitment before they walked across the stage to receive their diplomas in June. While donors to the 2009-10 annual fund will be listed in the Annual Report this fall, I thank you all your belief in and support of our wonderful school.
