Welcome to Berkshire, a co-educational boarding school for students in grades 9 through 12.  This is an exciting time to be a part of the Berkshire community. Building on consecutive years of double digit growth in applicant numbers, we are currently home to 372 intellectually curious students (28 states, 20 countries) who contribute to our school through good character and talent. Students are enjoying a newly renovated and expanded central academic building, Berkshire Hall, and a new 117,500 square-foot multi-purpose athletic facility, the Jackman L. Stewart Athletic Center. Both are premiere facilities that support an array of exceptional academic and extracurricular opportunities. While these new improvements provide us with standout facilities as we enter our second century, it is the people, including the vibrant student body and richly experienced faculty, that are Berkshire’s critical ingredients. You can read more about our community in a recent AdmissionsQuest blog.

Come visit and see for yourself how these ingredients, along with the spectacular beauty of our 500 acre campus under the Mountain, make Berkshire unique.  We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you during your visit. Until then, click here to listen to what some of our students have to say about their experiences at Berkshire.
